This 1940's bank was made by McCoy pottery. It has a cork covered bottom stamped, "The Seamen's Bank for Savings". It was a promotional item for the bank. It was designed by Frank Goss who's company Contemporary Ceramics of Chatham, New Jersey, is on the metal bottom. No chips or cracks. He even has his stripes. There is some crazing as shown in the pictures, due to his age. Otherwise, perfect condition ! He is roughly 6 by 6 inches
