Morton Künstler (born August 28, 1927) is an American artist known for his illustrative paintings of historical events, especially of the American Civil War. He was a child prodigy, who, with encouragement from his parents, became a skilled artist by the time he was twelve. Today he is considered the "best-known and most respected historical artist in the country.

Mort’s paintings are in the permanent collection of over 50 museums, and have been exhibited in over 60 museum one-man shows. His work has been featured in more than 20 books that have sold over 500,000 copies. Mort lives in Oyster Bay, New York, and retired from painting in 2019.

Disclosure: The items in this auction (with the exception of some books and the gun safe) are from various estates around Massachusetts, not from the home where you will pick up. We will ship all the art.

This is an online auction and pick up will be at during our in-home estate sale (you can shop the home) on Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24, 9-1.

We will ship within 5 business days. The credit card on file will be charged shipping charges. Anything over $100 will have added insurance and over $200 requires a signature. Once the package leaves our hands it is not our responsibility. Any inquiries about your package can be done through tracking with the post office.
