Kaleidoscope Pottery from Eastham, Mass produced this Yellow and black Oval Dark Sugar Maple Leaf Dish marked Kaleidoscope Pottery on the back. The plate measures 13" x 8.5" and is a Medium oval plate in dark background with sugar maple leaves. Some variation in color and pattern will occur as each piece is handmade using real sugar maple leaves. The leafware is made by hand from stoneware slabs. The company gathers fresh leaves from the New England countryside and creates the design by impressing the leaves into clay. The glaze is entirely lead-free and may be used with all types of food. Each piece is durable and safe for the microwave and dishwasher.
