Atlas of surveys Hampden County, Massachusetts, published by L. J. Richards & Company, Springfield, Massachusetts 1894 oversized book measures 17“ x 22 1/2“. Book is in good condition, except for the binding, spine is missing, and there is where on the cover. The plates are in good condition. There is some moisture damage to the front cover. The book contains 33 double page maps in color of the cities and towns of the county together with a double page map of the United States and state of Massachusetts, and a driving map of Hampden county and vicinity, showing all roads in color. You can see locations of peoples homes at that period of time. This book is extremely rare, I could not find any for sale only ones listed in town libraries. The later 1912 edition is available for sale on Abe Books for $375-600.
From my personal collection- belonged to my grandfather Charles Hansen (1900-1982) of Granville MA.
