Item Description

The provenance on this clock is written on the inside of the door. Hard to photograph, but the first owner appears to have purchased it in 1843. It has the lines of a Willard clock without a signature on the painted clock face. Columns line the sides of the case, filigree pediment with three brass finials. The clockworks are also similar to a Willard, but a signature cannot be found.
Nevertheless, this is a magnificent clock. It had regular servicing. Needs another one.
