Vintage Chinese embroidered mauve silk lotus foot shoes – painted heel (DP80)
The silk looks in good condition. You can see some white hand stitching around the edge of the sole. They are firm and must have been stiffened with some form of lining. The soles are rigid as well. Lined with a type of cotton. These are sewn together so have not been worn. The soles are partly silk, partly cotton fabric, also rigid, and with a painted heel.
