This 4 1/2 LP set features the complete 1988 Prince's Trust Rock Gala concert. The Prince's Trust is a charity organization formed by the Prince of Wales in 1976, and this particular show raised over £48 million for the charity. The performers were backed by two all star bands, which played alternatively. The Midge Ure All Star Band were featured as the backing band for Rick Astley, Black, Leonard Cohen, Peter Gabriel, Howard Jones and Joe Cocker. Midge Ure was also the Musical Director for the show, and as such, handled almost all of the artist introductions from the stage between acts. The Eric Clapton All-Star Band were featured as the backing band for Clapton himself, Mark Knopfler and Elton John. The final song features all of the artists on stage with Cocker singing lead. This set features all of the songs played that night, along with segment intros and breaks by show host Doug Podell and original commercial blocks.

The records are in plastic inner sleeves and come in a fold out cardboard sleeve. The 5 records are in NEAR MINT condition and literally dust free.
