Item Description

Master of Reality is the third studio album, released on July 21, 1971. Reached #8 on the U.S. album chart, immediately going gold. It was Black Sabbath’s first album to debut in the Top 10.
Upon inspection, the jacket has moderate shelf wear. The record is in GOOD+ condition. Side 2 needs a thorough cleaning.

Considered by many to be the first heavy metal band, Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 by Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward in Birmingham, UK.
The band's original name was the Polka Tulk Blues Band (later shortened to Polka Tulk) and later on changed to Earth (12) before becoming Black Sabbath inspired by an Italian horror movie of the same name.
