*RARE* 1986 RELEASE DAVID GILMOUR/PETE TOWNSHEND/ANNIE LENNOX & THE PRETENDERS VOLCANO CONCERT 3X VINYL LP SET

NOTE: This concert must be quite rare on vinyl because I can not locate this on Discogs, Ebay, Google or anywhere else, unless I did not research correctly. You can view the concert on YouTube. I can not confirm if this was aired on the King Biscuit Flower Hour, but assume it was.

The concert was held at Royal Albert Hall in London on February 9, 1986 This is a 5 sided record set with commercials included as heard the very night it was broadcasted on November 27th 1986 as the Thanksgiving Super Concert. Radio commercial and performance transcripts are included.

On November 13th 1985, the Nevado Del Ruiz volcano erupted devastating the Northern Tolima region of central Colombia - 25,000 people perished. In response, the Colombian musician Chucho Merchan brought together an array of international music stars to help raise funds for those who lost everything in the worst volcano disaster of this century. On behalf of the Nevado Del Ruiz Disaster Appeal Fund.
