Heaven and Hell is the ninth studio album, released April 25, 1980 and the first to feature new vocalist, Ronnie James Dio. Heaven and Hell reached #28 on the U.S. Billboard charts and sold steadily enough to be certified platinum in 1986. There were no other U.S. Reissues until 2009. Inner sleeve. Upon inspection, the jacket has moderate shelf wear. The record is in VG+ condition.

Considered by many to be the first heavy metal band, Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 by Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward in Birmingham, UK.
The band's original name was the Polka Tulk Blues Band (later shortened to Polka Tulk) and later on changed to Earth (12) before becoming Black Sabbath inspired by an Italian horror movie of the same name.
