Eponymously titled John Phillips, this album is also known as "John, the Wolf King of L.A.". Phillips was the leader of the group The Mama's and the Papa's. This album includes Phillips' highest charting single as a solo artist: "Mississippi" went to #32 on the Billboard charts in 1970. Upon inspection, the jacket has shelf wear and is still in original shrink wrap. The record is in VG+ condition.
