Unknown release date, but I'm thinking 1960's to mid 1970's. Inner sleeve. Upon inspection, the jacket has shelf wear. The record is in VG condition.
Ed Rudy started in show business in the 50’s on various radio (and later tv) shows in New York City. Ed was also a reporter and columnist for the newspaper Show Business, New York Voice, Long Island Post, Entertainment World . He was a record producer as well, but it was due to his broadcasting for INS Radio News, Radio Pulsebeat News and UPI Radio that Ed Rudy, famously interviewed and traveled with The Beatles in 1964.
Rudy was the only American reporter who traveled with The Beatles on their first full American tour. He was asked by Beatles' manager, Brian Epstein, to accompany them. "The Boys" thought so highly of Ed’s coverage that they considered him “The Fifth Beatle” on the albums, recording custom liners on his behalf. Please see link below for more details of Rudy's involvement with the 'British Invasion'.
