Grammy Award winner British vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter. Born April 22, 1950 in Beckenham, Kent, United Kingdom.
At age 14, he was playing with a band called the Trubeats followed by a band called The Preachers (5) (disbanded in September 1966). In 1969, he joined with Steve Marriott to form Humble Pie. After four studio albums and one live album with them, he left the band and went solo in 1971.
