1976 REISSUE BLACK SABBATH SELF TITLED VINYL RECORD WS 1871 WARNER BROTHERS RECORDS

Black Sabbath is their first studio album and features the female model Louisa Livingstone. The album was recorded in one 8 hour session in October 1969 at Regent Sound Studios. Inner sleeve. Upon inspection, the jacket has moderate shelf wear. The record is in VG+ TO EXCELLENT condition.

Considered by many to be the first heavy metal band, Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 by Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward in Birmingham, UK.
The band's original name was the Polka Tulk Blues Band (later shortened to Polka Tulk) and later on changed to Earth (12) before becoming Black Sabbath inspired by an Italian horror movie of the same name.
