I recently purchased a number of items from Rowland Thomas, LLC. On the day of the scheduled pick-up Rowland Thomas emailed me to say that he was unable to detach the two planters from the ground that I had purchased. He mentioned that the weather would be getting warmer and I could perhaps detach them with hot water. I went to pick up my items a few days later and could not get the two planters to move, it was clear to me that they were cemented to the ground. I contacted him and told them they were not movable and said that I would like a refund for the planters, which he refused to provide. He said that I would have to forfeit the items. I went a second time with a professional to assess the planters and see if they could be moved. The professional informed me that the planters were affixed to the ground with cement and could not be moved. I contacted Rowland Thomas with photos of the cement and he did not respond. This is unacceptable. It is his and the sellers responsibility to only sell items that can be moved. This is unethical behavior and based on his other reviews that I have since read he should not be allowed to continue selling.
