Richard Low Evans (1915-1998). A Boston native, Evans earned a diploma from the New England School of Art, had a successful graphic design career, and was the National Art Director for Mead Packaging Co. in Atlanta. After abandoning the corporate art world, he devoted his life to watercolor painting, traveling extensively throughout Georgia. He was constantly looking, sensing, tasting, sketching, and recording the ambiance of places and people. From the W. W. Law Art Collection.
