Miley Busiek Frost Together A New Beginning Bronze Eagle

This exquisite bronze statue of two bald eagles is a patriotic commemoration of Ronald Reagan's inauguration, dated with the phrase "Together A New Beginning". While watching Ronald Reagan's acceptance speech at the 1980 Republican Convention she took his phrase "Together, a new beginning" and gave her sculpture this name.
The design of this sculpture would later be incorporated into the Gold Eagle bullion that was first minted in 1985 and continues to be minted to this day. It features a male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings.
Miley Busiek Frost is one of the nation’s most accomplished and respected sculptors. Her various original works have been commissioned by organizations ranging from the Navy League of the U.S., The Smithsonian American History Museum, the University of Texas and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, the George W. Bush Presidential Center, and the San Jacinto Tower.
