ANTIQUE SIGNED COLD PAINTED AUSTRIAN BRONZE OF A MAN PRAYING STATUE

This is a wonderful bronze typical of the work of Franz Bergmann. While it does not bear his foundry mark, it has all the ear marks of his work. The subject, the quality and most of all these are specifically the colors he used when having the bronze cold painted. This is a good size and it does bear the mark "Austria" under the rug.
A fine example of the work of the master of this genre, Mr. Bergmann.- Measures 6"x3.5"x3" -Some age related wear and overall paint loss but overall remaining in good antique condition
