: This was found in the attic when the home owner moved into house in the the 1970s-I will let the experts determine it's value-markings that I found are -“R. S. LAWRENCE PAT. / APRIL 12th 1858” and “C. SHARPS PAT. / APRIL 12 1859”, “C. SHARPS PAT. / SEPT. 12th 1848” on the left. Its marked top New Model- 1863-marked with the serial number, C with a tiny 9 under c's right hand side and then the serial number 13184.-looks all original and operational as far as I can see but I'm far from a gun expert-I encourage all parties who are interested to call me at 201-921-6600 -I could arrange for a presale viewing
