A lovely Italian Crown Naples Capodimonte molded and poly chrome finished porcelain box with hinged lid, raised on four feet. The feet and base border with rouge decoration. The oval body of the box decorated with four reserves within gilt finished borders. Each reserved panel depicts figural landscapes with wonderful foliate and elements of naturalistic decoration.-----The oval lid with rouge hued stylized scroll work to the trim with a central oval reserve within a gilt finished band. The figural decoration is in relief and overall.Marked underfoot.----19th C.----Condition: There is some wear to the finish throughout, with slight discoloration to the trim band of the lid. Minor nics and firing flaws. Despite wear the box presents wonderfully.3 7/8"H x 5 1/8"L x 4 1/8"D
