The obverse represents King George V in crown, inscription Georgivs V D. G. Britt. Omn. Rex et Indiae Imp. The reverse depicts a nude man resting from his labours with the inscription For Faithful Service. The name of the recipient, George Arthur Longhurst, is impressed on the rim.
