Wilhelm "Willi" Kleineberg
Born: Dec 8, 1896
Died: Aug 12, 1977
Born and lived in Herford, Germany
He was a Headmaster of School, a beekeeper, and painter. He often spoke about heading out to the countryside in a wood-burning truck to collect honey from his bees.
Fun story: One day during WWII, he was out in a neighboring countryside doing a landscape painting. A British plane was shot down in the vicinity, and some of the locals came out to capture the pilot, they briefly took Wilhelm into custody, thinking he might be the downed pilot. Thankfully, Willhelm was known to some of the other local residents, and he was freed after they vouched for his identity :)
His home was briefly occupied by British Forces after WWII as they set up the headquarters of the 1st Armoured Division.
