"Barbara Vassilieff - Russian Born, American artist, designer, sculptress, teacher of watercolor.

Studied Fine Art at National Academy of Design N.Y.C. under Robert Aitken.

Received awards three years in succession for the best students work (two of them First Prizes).

Studied watercolor with Edgar A. Whitney, oil with Paul Puzinas.
