Charles "Popo" Cosby (1946-2008) was born in Wharton, Texas in 1946 and moved to Rockport, Texas in 1958 where he eventually learned to paint. In Rockport he opened Popo's Art Studio and Gallery. A resident of Rockport until his death in 2008 his paintings have won numerous 1st place Awards at Art Centers and Shows, and have been featured in several publications.
