Barrett and his team run an amazing auction!! They are organized from start to finish and make everything so easy! Their auction Items are wonderful. They are super easy to work with and have an accommodated me several times when I couldn't make exact pick up times. This is one of my favorite auction houses and Iitems are wonderful. We are sorry to hear that your experience was disappointing. As stated to you in our email correspondence we had trained our daughter to help with packaging our shipping orders from the 3 part auction you participated in. You had a very large order from all 3 parts and in an effort to save customer cost regarding shipping and handling we combined all of your items into one box. When you sent pictures and described the damage that had occurred to some of your items we agreed that the fault was ours regarding how they were packaged and immediately issued you a full refund for the damaged items. We have used this experience as a learning process and will take precautions in the future regarding packaging items like yours in a different way. We have also realized that our effort to save you money on your large order by combining all items into one box was counter productive and in the future will distribute items into separate boxes for safer shipping. A full refund was issued and we felt like there was great communication and resolution with you regarding the issue. We are sorry that you did not feel the same way and felt it necessary to leave 3 negative reviews from one experience given the auction was broken up into 3 parts.

Not a good experience. Photos are blurry and poorly done, descriptions minimal at best. My items are incredibly disappointing - photos of one ring did not accurately represent it and no reply back when I expressed my frustration. I may just contact my bank given they don't seem to care. The email I received prior when asking about shipping was rude. I work with tons of auction houses - all are busy, it simply isn't an excuse for being rude and/or doing a poor job. Cannot recommend. If I ever hear back about my poorly described item I will update.

Your issue with the ring was responded to initially 3 days after you first reached out to us. We were in an extremely busy period with work and despite being very busy should have responded sooner. Regarding the resolution you were issued a full refund after you returned the item to us. We have used your complaints about the items picture as a learning process and have purchased equipment that will enable us to take better photographs of jewelry in the future. I have reviewed the email that you mentioned was rude. You requested special treatment because you stated that you had spent a lot of money and wanted your shipping to be completed right after the auction had ended. The email response to your request let you know that we were still sorting items for local pick up and would not be starting the shipping process until the following week after the pick up had concluded. You felt the response was rude and I feel like it was just letting you know that we were very busy preparing for the pick up date and would not be able to treat you any different than our other shipping clients. I am sorry that you were unhappy with your purchase and that you felt our email letting you know our shipping policies was rude. I am glad that the issue has been resolved with your obtaining a full refund and that we have utilized the experience to upgrade our ability to take better close up pictures of jewelry in the future.

Terms & Conditions

Local pickup only for larger items - SHIPPING on smaller items that have been designated as Shipping Available.

Local pick up: I agree to the pick up date and time. I agree to forfeit my purchase without refund if I do not make the pick up time. I agree to pay a $15 flat fee for late arrival if I arrive between 3:01-3:30pm. I agree to pay a $30 flat fee for late arrival if I arrive between 3:31-4pm. There will be no pick up possibility after 4pm.

Shipping: Shipping cost is the price of postage for USPS or UPS plus a $5 or $15 handling fee. We will consolidate as many items into one box as possible. Breakable items (Glassware, etc.) may require their own box to ensure protection.
Shipping items must be listed as Shipping Available. Do not bid on items you intend to have shipped that are not listed as such. No refunds will be given on an item that has been requested for shipping but is not listed as Shipping Available. If an item is not listed for shipping and you wish to request shipping please contact us to discuss. Any and all damage done in shipping is covered up to $100 insurance through either UPS or USPS and claim is to be made through them. NoCo Estate Sales is not liable for damages done through shipping.
