Vintage La Poterie D'Annecy Saint Jorioz Bird Vase & Poterie De Charly Pitcher, Stamped (2-piece Set)

Beautiful vintage mid-century French pottery. Handmade and painted in Saint-Jorioz, France and Charly, France.

The legacy began in 1847 when a family of potters called Hertz came to Annecy. It became La Poterie d'Annecy in 1950 and moved to St Jorioz in 1963 to keep the legacy alive in the 21st century under the name of La Poterie du Lac.

The art of Savoyard pottery lives on in the Poterie de Charly where Nicole and Daniel Martin work to preserve the richness of glazed pottery through particularly careful decoration.
