"The first Beatrix Potter pieces were made by the iconic Beswick factory in the late 1940's - and production of the figures continued at Beswick and in turn, Royal Albert for many decades. Beswick and Royal Albert Beatrix Potter are no longer in production, and have become very desirable collectable items.
It is interesting to note that it was Beatrix Potter herself who first sought to have her creations lifted off the printed page and into other marketable products. Around about 1907 she modelled some clay figures and contacted Royal Doulton’s Lambeth factory."

"The Calico Kittens were created in 1992 and released to the public in 1993. Priscilla Hillman is the artist who created them, and they are an Enesco Corporation product. Priscilla is probably most known for creating the Cherished Teddies product line. Each Calico Kitten figurine is identified by several markings on the bottom of the piece, called the understamp. First is the name of the piece."

Please present a government issued photo ID at pick up - this is required in order for us to release any items. ID must match the name on the bidder's auction receipt. Please make sure that you bring wrapping materials. We will not provide packing materials.

43-34 32nd Place (Between Skillman Ave. & Queens Blvd.) We are Loading Dock #2 (If you see the PropNSpoon sign, you are at the correct loading dock) - Please call 212-244-9600 once you are in our loading dock, and a member of our staff can bring down your items.
Please make sure that you bring wrapping materials. We will not provide packing materials.
Please note - there are oversized and heavy items in this auction. Please be sure to bring assistance and an appropriately sized vehicle that will accommodate the items. There will be staff to assist with getting merch into your vehicle. Please tip them.
