French Victorian Fashion Shadow Box, Diorama Of La Mode Illustre W/ Handmade Fabric Dresses

An enchanting box-framed of a 19th century French fashion illustration with handmade ribbon and fabric dresses. The original hand-colored Victorian fashion illustration diorama is taken from the fashion magazine "La Mode Illustrée" and dates to the second half of the 1800s. The hand-colored original print has been decorated with hand sewn dresses created from satin, lace and ribbon. The dresses where added during the late 20th century and the creation was then framed in a gold-tone mirrored wooden frame with a glass protective cover. A hanging cord is attached to the reverse side.
