That work had taken her all over the world (both for research, as well as to give papers, presentations and to attend professional conferences). After her non-profit work was complete, she used her research background to become an expert on (antique) fine glass and porcelain (amassing a considerable library of reference books) and had been a seller of such antiques on eBay, obtaining items to sell from auctions and estate sales. In her Retirment years she loved to cook, gardening and creating crafts to sell at the famous Bridgewater fair. Her passion for creating and exploring the depths of both the ocean and the human experience adds an extraordinary narrative to this item's history, making it a truly unique and storied possession.
