Very good condition with a couple of tiny tears to the dust jacket, fixed with archival tape. No wear to the hardcover itself or the pages. 167 examples of the artist's work throughout.
Rollin Pickford was the Painter Laureate of California's San Joaquin Valley and his watercolors of the region have been exhibited internationally, winning over 300 awards.
This 1998 book by his son Joel, and co-author Mark Arax, includes the 167 works, as well as five essays and interviews exploring different facets of the artist's life and career, his technique, his philosophy and his native land.
Combines digital photography with Hexachrome printing.
