1926 portrait of a gentleman by American artist Lawrence Carmichael Earle (1845-1921.) Last photo is of Earle in later life.
I wish I could tell you who it is, but there's no identification. The portrait looks to be on paper that seems to have a canvas-like texture and is pasted down on heavy stock cardboard.
It's in very good condition with a little wear only where an original mat lay. It could probably use a cleaning, but there are no other issues.
The portrait's sight size measures 13 1/4" by 9 1/4" with another 1/2" on all sides that were under the mat.
