Upon arriving at my pick up I was notified that one of my lots was not with them and they would have to drop it off at my apartment four days later.

Next, I began inspecting a lot I purchased and identified a missing item. They then began looking through through the their store (the pick-up location) and they magically found two pieces that were missing from my lot. I was informed that a GHOST must have removed two items from my lot.

Avoid this seller.

This company misrepresented the jewelry they were selling thereby overcharging. For example, they listed:

LARGE LOT COSTUME JEWELRY, BAKELITE, BUTTONS, GARRISON FISH PIN, VINTAGE TIN for which I paid $54.00 Their notes stated that the condition was Very Good, normal wear for age -

This was a tin filled with junk and one piece of bakelite jewelry. From past purchases this was not a large lot of jewelry. Almost all of the jewelry was damaged. From the large lot I salvaged a wooden necklace, 2 pieces with colored glass and silver tone fish, a faux pearl bracelet, a leather choker, a goldstone tie clip, a Royal Caribbbean tie clip, a semi-precious stone (?). Needless to say none of these items have any substantial value.

The second item I purchased was the STUNNING COLLECTION OF RHINESTONE PINS, DRESS CLIPS BUTTONS, NECKLACE LITTLE NEMO PIN WITH ABALONE/RHINESTONES for $50.00. They again noted the condition of the items was Very Good, normal wear for age: There was absolutely no indication in their description that stones were missing from the rhinestone jewelry and that certainly could not be clearly seen in the pictures.

I notified Tham of my findings and they never got back to me. This is my first bad experience on Auction Ninja. I would not deal with Metfair or Matted LIC ever again.

I have pictures if you would like to see them.
