This frame is from the Rococo Revival Period around the 1850's and was restored in 2003 by Yani Makridis of Boston, MA. One Frame Expert believes the frame could have been crafted by Thomas Wilmert, a New York framer who started his business in 1828. Moveover, the figure at the top of the frame is thought to be Diana, Goddess of the hunt.
