Joan Carl (1926-2021) Signed Bronze Sculpture On Marble Base 1987 ONE OF A KIND

Joan Carl confirmed in a email string in 2012, that this piece was the only AC (Artist Copy) in existence. It was made by her for an artist friend on the west coast, who had since passed. His collection was sold off, and this one of a kind piece ended up in CT. Joan confirmed that the piece was never named other than "Mother and Child", but on thinking about it, she said it would have been named "The Touch". The bronze stands approx. 9" tall.

If requested, I can include a copy of the official appraisal done by Dr. Lori V of Masterpiece Technologies valuing this piece at $2,500.

This is a steal for a one of a kind sculpture in fantastic condition!
