3 jars total ...the vintage Griffin Shoe Polish Bottle likely dating around the 1950s. The uniquely shaped bottle is embossed, “Griffin” with a series of lines that resemble feathers. The bottom is embossed with a circled "I" ,"2 1/4 Fl. Oz". The Griffin Manufacturing Company of New York, NY made shoe polish from the 1880's into the1950s. The name was purchased in 2013 as part of the Griffin Shoe Care Company. This cork-topped bottle does have a seam above the neck indicating it was produced by machine after 1900. (Cork is missing). The encircled "I" likely represents the Owens Illinois Glass Company Later bottles had labels and screw tops.
