The people who own this company might be nice, but one guy who showed up to help them out at this particular sale in E. Patchogue was rude, condescending. The liquidators were selling other items in the house that hadn't been listed. I wanted to ask about a sterling teapot, was waiting while the older men who seemed to be in charge were busy. This slightly younger, middle-aged guy with an orange tan said he'd help me. He then proceeded to assume that I couldn't afford the teapot, boasting about how he's a jeweler so he knows, didn't even give me a chance to make an offer. He walked right outside with the teapot and put it in his own car. I never got a chance to ask the other guys about it. I wrote to them through AN shortly after this happened, never heard back from them. No apology or explanation for this gold-chain wearing wannabe showing such hubris and being so insulting. Unfortunately for the owners of this company, their friend lost them a very good customer.
