WWII US MILITARY INFANTRY STERLING SILVER & ENAMEL MARKSMAN RIFLE PIN MEDAL

Up for your consideration is this antique US Military WWII sterling silver sharpshooter medal/pin. It is in the form of a rifle and wreath with blue enamel. It measures approximately 3" long by a little over 1" from top to bottom. The back is marked STERLING in a unusual place. Unlike most versions of this medal Sterling is not stamped, but instead is raised on the medal. It has two pins on the back with attached connectors. It needs a good polishing on the back. Very good condition.
