Pickups By Appointment Only
Please call 860-917-3276 If no answer please leave a message. We may be unreachable and in a basement or attic collecting the next auction treasures. CALL Tues - Fri. 12:00PM - 4:30PM & Sat 12:00PM - 4:00PM to schedule an appointment. (There are exceptions to the rules... you may get lucky)
WE ARE CLOSED FOR APPOINTMENTS ON SUN & MON. AND APPOINTMENTS CAN NOT BE SCHEDULED FOR THE SAME DAY YOU CALL. (we need a minimum of 24 hours.) In other words, if you call and reach us on one of those days, great! But no appointments will be set for AT LEAST 24 hours.
Pickup Policy :
Winning bidders will have many days from the date of the auction end to set an appointment to pickup their items. *We need at least 24 hours from the day you call to pull your items. We can not pull items the same day you call. (I realize you just read this above,... hoping it inks in before you ask) If you show up without an appointment you will be turned away.
Lots Not Picked Up During a reasonable time period will be sent to the wood chipper or bon-fire for an appropriate funeral. (We will invite you. Bring dog treats and marshmallows ... chocolate, some graham crackers, ... I digress.... If you miss your scheduled appointment time please call us (preferably before) so we can help you reschedule. If this becomes habitual then we will send over Guido (a very lonely, and hairy, one eyebrow, big tongue, a bit of a drooler, large, German shepherd, acting in behalf of our management team for special problems... a "fixer" of sorts, if you will. We don't often use him... he's easily distracted and we have to hide things when he's around...
Winning bidder is responsible for supplying all labor and materials required for pickup and removal of their items. We will Not Assist in loading of Your item. The dogs may be bribed with treats however.
First time buyer will have to provide ID at the time of pick up. (this is the dogs idea and they may want to stalk you... just go with it, they are harmless)
Orders over $100 will need to supply ID and have a picture of the ID and invoice taken for verification if needed. Nothing personal. This allows up to verify pick up and deter any chargeback issues. (rare to none... probably because of Guido)

Payments :
Winning Items must be paid within 48 hours of auction ending. This is normally done by directly charging the card on file through Auction Ninja immediately after the auction. Please verify funds are available and the card is not declined. Thank You.

Please thoroughly review all photos for condition prior to placing a bid. Once a bid is submitted we do not have the ability to remove a bid. (thats a bold face lie.. we do have the ability. However we will not unless we have bribes and cookies... or both)
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We do our best to disclose all information about the items either in descriptions, pictures or both. If we have grossly misrepresented an item we will work it out to where everyone is is happy. It wasn't intentional. (Unless you are an asshat and we decided to make a mistake on your account... then all bets are off).
Shipping is available with our in-house shipping department. Skilled labor that works for bones. Slow but dedicated and careful. Very affordable. No 3rd party shipping, just 3 dogs packing. (and a turtle named speedy... just sayin'). There is some truth in that.
Please call the shipping department at (860) 537-3808 and leave a message we will call you back. NOTE, THIS IS A LANDLINE AND YOUR TEXTS WILL NOT BE RECEIVED AND YOU WILL BE BARKED AT. (In a most loving way of course) This action is not necessary. If you choose shipping when you register it will be automatic. Please understand that we offer DOMESTIC and INTERNATIONAL shipping. We can and will combine your shipping to save you the most in your orders. A ONE TIME PER AUCTION (not listing) HANDLING FEE OF $5 IS APPLIED TO ALL ORDERS. Hey, we could do like others and inflate your postage, use a 3rd party shipper, charge you for transporting the items and actually create more reasons to take your money but ... we prefer the honest approach. Diane is our shipper! She works hard and gets no money... at all... none! (Honest) and the $5 goes to buying treats for the dogs... and Guido. Shipping takes 10 -12 business days ... thats a fact jack! The care for the dogs and other animals is partly the reason on our delays.
** We will be traveling down to Arkansas in a few days! We are picking up several pups (14 to be exact) and a couple adult hound dogs that risk being euthanized. The 2 adult dogs are on the kill list unless we step in. Sadly, they are Heart-worm positive and desperately need intervention. ...
As many of you know, the shelters are overrun, over flowing and unable to take in more animals unless homes are found. Sadly many do not make it past a week. ... no more on that depressing subject.
Anyway, we have had such a positive outreach with our auctions and as a result are able to fund several of our rescue trips, vet bills, food and more. Donations truly help as well but why not enjoy an auction as a method of donating?
Treatment is being done currently for the two adult HW positive dogs and will continue once here. There is a point to all this... simply a thank you for your participation in our auctions. The sold items will support our travels, health care for the dogs and food, accessories for all our rescue intakes. We will not have any pick up times available from January 27th to February 5th. Thanks!
