Hello, this is Baxter the Husky, one of Murph’s minions, a rescue at Kodi’s Korner Dog Rescue. I am a talker! Just a fair warning.
This is a quick vintage Playboy magazine auction offering many vintage months of mags.. A few full years in the 1960s, some months in the 1950s with some newer issues. A few accumulated full years but listed individually.
The pictures will likely show the best detail, however, always read the descriptions and review all your pictures carefully. In this auction, you will find several issues that are in archival plastic sleeves. “squirrel”! This doesn’t necessarily mean the condition is pristine, it simply means we don’t want to make it worse… (if you don’t know us by now, then you may not recognize our humor…)
There are, to my knowledge, three issues that do not have a centerfold. They are clearly listed as such. Don’t be lazy, see the pictures and read the descriptions. Sometimes there is posted notes in the pictures. “did anyone else see a rabbit ?”
Most from this Auction are from a private collection that was recently obtained. Over 1800 issues that we will be placing throughout the months. Some pretty decent copies in the 50’s, 60’s,70’s etc. A nice … err… spread. (hey! Be glad that we’re not a bunch of cats what this description can get really ).
Your first responsibility is to ask any questions of any items that you’re not completely sure the condition of.
Relying on the reality that we are only human and try not to project a greater being of existence, we still stand by our product descriptions that we offer for Auction.
Simple is as simple does… If we inaccurately describe the item, Just bring it to our attention, and we will fix it the best way we can. (or we will point it out blatantly that you just didn’t look at the pictures or read the description and it’s clear as day that the cover is torn… Or it’s missing a juicy centerfold… Or you need a new prescription for your glasses. We make mistakes… So does the bidder). “Howwooolllwww… throw the ball, throw the ball, throw the damn ball!“
Your bidding experience is the most important thing to us. And though I cannot speak for all the other Auction companies “woof! … ummm you said “speak”! that you will find on Auction Ninja, we want to make sure that your experience with us is a positive one. (Watch your step! We call them little land mines)
* we actually operate as a 501(c)(3) Dog Rescue. (we like to think that it is us dogs who rescued the humans) Finding and placing dogs in homes that otherwise have a tough road ahead and could probably be euthanized without someone’s intervention. I could talk all day about this because I’m a husky! You should see me when I just get going…(inconceivable.. a movie reference that many of you will not get) but that is not why you came here.
SHIPPING … yes all items in this auction can be shipped, and we ship worldwide. When you register with us, simply indicate that you need shipping and nothing more needs to be done. It is wise to let us know by reaching out to a shipping department. If you’re unsure your items will be shipped. Just leave a message at area code 860-537-3808.
We tend to be a little slow on shipping because it’s all done in house, ask that you allow us 10 to 12 business days to get your package ready. Some of us have big paws… still mastering the packaging technique. When reaching out to our shipping department, if you call and you hear, heavy breathing, slurping, and licking on the other end of the phone… It’s not an X-rated call, as although some of you may enjoy that, it’s just one of our rescue dogs, telling you how happy they are for you giving them the opportunity to find them a better home with your bidding on our auctions.

LOCAL PICKUP AND DELIVERY OPTIONS.
YES! This of course is available as well. However, local pick up is done by appointment ONLY and you must contact us to schedule that. Times of Pick Up are flexible but limited to first come first serve. As a general practice, we do not schedule pick up times the same day as you contact us so please do it ahead of time and give yourself a few options of availability. This is a landline phone number and we do not take texts on this number… 860.537.3808. If you need it delivered, please reach out to us and we will throw saddlebags on axle… Depending on your location will depend on his arrival time. Large orders require an entourage of available carriers and may require one of our mastiffs to help. “clean up… Aisle three! The puppies are at it again.”
Often during pick up hours, there will be us dogs and puppies on premises. If this is a problem, please notify us ahead of time and a hooman can meet you in an empty cage or crate… I mean, please let us know, and they will meet you outside away from us animals.

All shipping is done in-House, 10 to 12 business days after close before we get to your item. Please be patient, we are a Dog Rescue not a full service shipping department. Feel privileged to receive any dog glitter stuck to packaging tape, it’s their way of saying thank you.
We do not ship these magazines as media mail. We charge you the best shipping price available. We do not inflate shipping cost. There is one time five dollar handling fee on your shipping total for the entire auction. We reserved the right to ship the method that best fits our needs, and sometimes that means a delivery to you. We make many deliveries throughout the area and in New York, we will charge less postage if bringing the items to you.
