1917 Group Photo Of Men In Full Dress Uniform - British Cavalry Hussars (?)

I was told, and believed initially, that the photo was of British Cavalry...but now I’m not so sure. I have been unable to connect all the uniform details with any particular country or service, although Great Britain comes the closest.
The photo appears to have no damage. The frame measures 18.75”x14.25” and is in very good condition with minimal evidence of wear.
