ALL SALES ARE FINAL and all items are SOLD AS IS. Bidders are strongly encouraged to ask any questions prior to bidding. Please refer to all of the photos, as they are part of the description. Auctioneer will do their best to list any damage, repairs or restorations; the absence of these descriptions or conditions must not be taken to imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Most of the items are antique, vintage or used. You should expect signs of wear consistent with age. No returns, credits or exchanges.
1. Winning bidders will receive pickup address via email after the sale closes. Make sure you have selected in your account dashboard preferences under email to receive notifications/auction win instructions via EMAIL and TEXT in order to not miss any notices. Auction win emails and invoices can also be accessed from your dashboard after sale closes completely.
2. Please be aware that we cannot issue tax refunds if a bidder provides their NY tax exemption credentials after the sale. It is essential for bidders to provide their tax information online through the AuctionNinja platform PRIOR TO BIDDING.
3. All Items Must be Picked up on Friday, August 2nd between 10 AM and 2 PM, or Saturday, August 3rd between 10 AM and 2 PM. Text us after the auction end with your name and the day you are coming so that we can have your lots ready for you.
4. Please bring ID with you, ideally the credit card used to pay, or your drivers license, to verify you are the customer. Your invoice must be paid before the items are released. Unless a prior arrangement is made with the auction manager, exceptions will not be made for pickup beyond the window.
5. Please bring help to carry and/or pack your items, as the staff of James Douglas Gallery is not responsible for carrying out the items.
6. Please bring any wrapping and boxing material needed as it will not be provided.
7. Items NOT picked up or without pre-arrangements for pick up will be considered forfeited without refund.
8. WE WILL NOT CALL YOU TO REMIND YOU OF YOUR ITEMS, so please add pickup dates to your calendar!
