This Unique album is the photography of one young man growing up and living through WWII. They appear to span throughout his young to mid adult life, in the late 1930's, through his years in the army in the early 1940's, and into his time after up into the early 1950's. It appears he was possibly abroad in the Philippines as he has photos from soldiers from the Philippines and their families. There are photos of him and other soldiers at Fort Wolters, and other locations. In his post Army life he has photos fishing hunting and even hanging a bear. He Put the names of many people he photographed underneath, and put "me" under many of the photos of himself. A truly incredible piece of history documenting the life of a young man enjoying life before the war, experiencing the army during it, and living a life afterwards. From the photos you can really get a sense of who he was, he seemed to be quite a funny guy. Over 500 photos!
Notes: Scrap book is missing one string to hold it together but can be easily replaced, some photos falling out but are in very good condition.
