Walter Addison, New York, 1914-1982. A grouping Addison molds and sculpture including: 2 plaster molds of hippopotamuses and 1 maquette of a hippo that matches one of the molds - the largest mold measures 15"L x 9"D x 9"H. Provenance: Consigned by family. All artwork was found in his cottage in Washington Depot, Connecticut, on the banks of the Shepaug River, where he lived with his wife Rhoda from 1965 until his death in 1982.
