Two unframed scrapbook pages devoted to famous American poets, John Greenleaf Whittier and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, 19th century. Each with applied poetic verse written by the author beneath his applied printed portrait (the verse appears to be printed rather than pen and ink) and with associated landscape engravings applied in all 4 corners that appear to be dated 1886. The Whittier page with small tear in border, else both in good condition and suitable for framing. Each page measures 9 1/8" x 11 3/4". Provenance: From the Cornwell estate, Rochester NY.
