Two of the earlier Norman Rockwell posters printed by the Curtis Publishing Co. The first titled "Weighing In" painted for the cover of the Saturday Evening Post of June 25, 1958 and marked "Printed in Japan 1958 - The Curtis Publishing Co."; the second titled "Only Skin Deep" - Painted for the cover of the Saturday Evening Post of March 4, 1944 and marked "Printed in Japan 1944 - The Curtis Publishing Co.". Both with some light staining in bottom corners. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
