Stevens - published in 1825 - with many plates - loose covers, losses to spine, most pages with stains including plates and overall poor condition - and "General Index to The Zoology" by George Shaw M.D. and James Francis Stephens published in 1826 - wear and losses to binding, first few pages with staining, and overall fair condition; and The Naturalist's Library - Entomology, Vol 2 Beetles - poor condition but with many hand colored beetle plates, published in 1835. Provenance: From the Thomas Rockwell collection. Tom was the son of the famous American illustrator, Norman Rockwell, and was a book collector and book seller residing in both Stockbridge Massachusetts, where he opened a book and print store with his brother Peter, and Lagrangeville NY.
