Grouping of 3 Peruvian earthenware articles, believed to be pre-Columbian period, including: Two stirrup spout vessels, one in blackware, the other natural finish - the largest with several small chips to spout measures 9 1/2"H x 6" diameter (see photo for old paper label on base) - other than the chips on spout on the blackware vessel, both are in very good condition; together with a Peruvian Chimu blackware whistling double chamber jar, one chamber in the form of a bird - wear to base and chips to spout, otherwise very good condition - note a whistling jar is also a functional vessel that make a bird-like chirping sound when you blow air into the spout, or when liquid is poured slowly from one of it chambers to the other - it measures 7 3/4"W x 6 3/4"H. Provenance: From a Rochester NY estate, name withheld by family.
