Grouping of 13 unframed etching and prints including: Small etching "The Old Homestead" signed illegible, early to mid 20th century, good condition; etching depicting a young lady resting under tree by small pond with ducks, signed in plate M. Maris (Matthijs Maris, Dutch 1839-1917) - crease and border staining - 11 1/4" x 8 7/8"; etching of a resting bloodhound, signed in plate W. Wise (William Wise, England 1823 - 1876) - circa 1875 - paper loss in left corner, some staining on the large white border - measures 13 3/4" x 9 5/8"; etching of a hound dog titled "The Last Defender" signed in plate H. Dicksee (Herbert Dicksee, British 1862-1942) - some staining in white border, else good condition - 13 3/4" x 9 7/8"; etching titled "Otter Hounds" signed in plate Frederick Taylor (British, 1802-1889) - loss in left corner border, some staining, else good condition - measures 13 3/4" x 9 7/8"; etching of blood hounds tracking prey, not signed - foxing in left border with hole; print of cherub riding tiger near lady under tree, signed in plate F.S. Church - NY '88 (Frederick Stuart Church, AMERICAN 1842-1924) - paper loss in bottom left and right corners in border area, else good condition; print of fisherman on shoreline signed in plate C.Y. Turner (Charles Yardley Turner, NY/MD 1850-1919) - 2 small tears in border with some staining, else good condition - 14 1/8" x 10 3/8"; etching of Middle Eastern man and woman, pencil signed illegibly - light sun bleach mark, else good condition; engraving titled in pencil "The Old Clothes Dealer" and pencil signed by artist Stephen J. Ferris (AMERICAN 1835-1915) - large water stain along the bottom border; engraving pencil signed A. Lurat with French pencil inscription beneath signature and dated 1888 - (Abel Lurat, French 1829 - 1890-06) - small stain in bottom center margin, else good condition - the print is taped to cardboard; etching titled "Portrait De M. Pasteur" after A. Edelfelt painting and printed by A. Clement in Paris, dated in pencil 1886 - some wear spots on border else good condition; and a larger print, portrait of 3 dogs, signed in plate Maude Earl (British 1864-1943) - applied to cardboard backing with staining and foxing - overall size 18 1/2" x 15 5/8". Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
