Volume 1 with separation in leather on front cover where it meets the spine, original leather covers with some scratches and use wear otherwise the bindings in good condition - the interiors all in good condition. Provenance: From the Thomas Rockwell collection. Tom was the son of the famous American illustrator, Norman Rockwell. He was a book collector and book seller residing in both Stockbridge Massachusetts and Lagrangeville NY. In Stockbridge, he opened a book and print store with his brother Peter.
