Heinrich Christian Wilhelm Busch (14 April 1832 – 9 January 1908) was a German humorist, poet, illustrator, and painter. He published wildly innovative illustrated tales that remain influential to this day. This lot includes the book titled "Der Virtuos Und Andere Bildergeschichten" and 7 American typed translations of his stories. The book in fair condition, the papers in very good condition. Provenance: From the Thomas Rockwell collection. Tom was the son of the famous American illustrator, Norman Rockwell. He was a book collector and book seller residing in both Stockbridge Massachusetts and Lagrangeville NY. In Stockbridge, he opened a book and print store with his brother Peter.
